The City of Daphne partners with Vector Disease Control International (VDCI) to provide a comprehensive mosquito abatement program for our citizens. The program is designed to utilize scientific and environmentally sound techniques of mosquito control.

The primary objective of the program is to monitor and reduce mosquito populations through the use of specific, environmentally sound, control techniques in order to protect Daphne residents from the threat of mosquito-borne diseases.

We understand that some residents may have concerns due to health issues. If you would like prior notification of fogging in your area or if you have observed increasing mosquito activity or standing water in your area, please contact Daphne Public Works at 251-620-2100.
