The Jubilee Festival is an Eastern Shore tradition offering fine art, crafts, entertainment, and amazing food in Olde Towne Daphne sponsored by the
Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the City of Daphne.
"Kids Art in the Park” takes place in Centennial Park, directly across from Daphne City Hall. It is a concept started during the 1999 Jubilee Festival as a way of promoting arts and crafts to children. Children have an opportunity to take part in several games and hands-on art activities which allows them the opportunity to expand their creativity through designing art projects such as hand fans, fish prints, beaded necklaces, and wooden structures.
One of the most exciting art projects offered at "Kids Art in the Park” is fence painting. The wooden fence Centennial Park is transformed into a collage of children's artwork. Throughout the Festival, the young artists add their own artwork to an already existing scene of previous works. This collage of art will remain on the fence throughout the year and continue to come to life year after year with additions during future Jubilee Festivals.
Admission to the Jubilee Festival is always free. Booth and exhibitor space is available for participants near and far. For additional information on how to take part in the Jubilee Festival or schedules dates, please contact the
