Responsibilities & Services

The purpose of the City of Daphne's Finance Department is to provide high quality financial information to all users, both external and internal, by providing accurate, complete and timely information regarding the City's financial condition and transactions. The Finance Department seeks to enhance City operations through strong internal controls and compliance audits leading to financial management discipline and the pursuit of improved operations.

Annual Comprehensive Financial Report

The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report is prepared annually by the Finance Department staff. 

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the City of Daphne for its submission of its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for consecutive years beginning with its September 30, 2012 submission.

Requests for Community Grants

A Community Grant Application is required when requesting a grant from the City of Daphne. The application and required documentation must be filled out and submitted to the Finance Office via email or hand delivery by June 1st of each year. The requests are considered and awarded during the annual budget process in September of each year. Please call the Finance Director’s Office with any additional questions.
