Sports & Recreation

The Daphne Sports & Recreation Department is committed to serving the community through a variety of sporting events and senior activities. From youth and adult sports leagues to senior activities and events, we strive to offer you a variety of opportunities to maintain an active lifestyle in the City of Daphne.

To find information regarding the athletic programs managed by the City of Daphne Sports & Recreation Department, as well as links to the athletic programs that are managed by other organizations at our parks, please visit the Athletic Programs page. The City of Daphne Sports & Recreation Department operates the youth football, youth basketball, youth baseball, and the adult softball leagues. Other organizations manage the youth softball, youth cheerleading, youth flag football, youth lacrosse, and youth soccer programs.

Reserving Athletic Facilities

Daphne Tennis & Pickleball Complex is available for league and tournament reservations and for walk-up play when not reserved. Please use the paddle board for pickleball. To request a court reservation for tournament or league play, please submit the Daphne Tennis & Pickleball Complex Court Tournament/League Rental Request. Please only complete ONE form for a series of dates, listing the first date in the form. You will be able to describe all dates needed in your description during the request process. For additional information, please contact the Tennis & Pickleball Complex at 251-620-2710. 

Daphne Sports Complex, Al Trione Sports Complex, and Ruff Wilson Multi-use Field field reservations for tournament and league use can be requested. Please complete the Tournament/League Application and email to Ben Davis at bdavis@daphneal.com.

For team practice field reservations, please submit the Al Trione Sports Complex Field Rental Request online. Please only complete ONE form for a series of dates, listing the first date in the form. You will be able to describe all dates needed in your description during the request process.  If you have questions regarding the team practice field reservations process, please contact Ben Davis at bdavis@daphneal.com 

For private vendors doing business on City property, it is required to have an approved Private Vendor/Lesson Agreement with the City of Daphne Sports & Recreation Department. Please complete the appropriate agreement below and email to Kristie Green at kgreen@daphneal.com for final approval. If you have questions regarding these agreements, please contact our office at 251-620-2700.
