The Daphne Parks & Recreation Department is committed to serving the community through every avenue of recreation. From Parks & trails, sports leagues, to fitness & dance classes, to music and special community events, we strive to offer you a variety of opportunities to maintain an active lifestyle in the City of Daphne.

Our 2017 Summer Sports Camps begin June 5 and run through July 13 (note: there will be NO camps held on July 4th). Pay ONLY $10 for the entire schedule of camps, and enjoy a FREE breakfast and lunch, as well. The City of Daphne Parks & Recreation Department has an Adopt-A-Park program. We are calling all churches, civic organizations, school clubs, volunteer groups and individuals to give of their time, money and resources to improve and maintain the community parks of Daphne. There are opportunities for monthly litter pick-up, landscaping services and monetary gifts towards park fences and playground equipment. Fitness Center

The Daphne Recreation Department provides a great fitness facility to help keep the local community in shape and encourage a healthy lifestyle. The fitness center gives you an opportunity to meet people in the area and develop friendships. The center has six treadmills, two elliptical machines, two recumbent bikes, two upright bikes, two stair climbers, strength training machines and free weights.  To become a member just complete the membership application.

6:00am – 7:00pm, Monday – Thursday
6:00am – 6:00pm, Friday
CLOSED - Saturday & Sunday

Individual – $15.00 / $45.00 / $170.00
Family – $20.00 / $60.00 / $230.00
(Note: Family includes husband/wife & children under the age of 21 living in the same household)
Senior – $10.00 / $30.00 / $115.00
(Note: Must be at least 60 years old)
Senior Family – $12.00 / $36.00 / $134.00
Daphne Resident Daily: $2.00
Daphne Resident Guest Daily: $2.00
Non-Resident Guest Daily: $4.00
All payments are due on the 1st of each month. (If joining after the 15th of the month, fees will be pro-rated accordingly.)

Park Information

The City of Daphne is proud to offer 13 parks and athletic sports fields for the community to enjoy. The City of Daphne does not rent park facilities, other than the pavilion at Bayfront Park and the sports fields at Al Trione Sports Complex. To hold a birthday party or event at one of the parks, they are based on a first come, first served basis. Each park is open to the public, therefore, it cannot be exclusive to your function. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the parks and city facilities at all times.

Park hours are dawn until dusk, except for Al Trione Sports Complex and W.O. Lott Park. For more information, call 251.621.3703.
