The Daphne Fire Department, in an attempt to improve the chances of surviving sudden cardiac arrest due is offering CPR, free to the public. Certification is available at the low cost of five dollars for Heartsaver CPR and Ten dollars for healthcare provider CPR. All training is in accordance with the American Heart Association standards.

American Heart Association First Aid training is also available at the department and is offered free of charge for anyone wanting training and $10.00 per person for those requiring certification cards. The “hands-on” course is offered every other month on Saturday mornings

All Daphne Firefighters are cross-trained as Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics. If you would like to have your Blood Pressure checked at any time, please stop by any of our stations – we will be glad to check it for you.

Daphne Fire Department personnel recently attended 16 hours of training on Child Safety Restraints. An informal inspection by the department recently revealed that almost 8/10 car seats are installed incorrectly. We will be glad to inspect your child's car seat and ensure that it has been installed correctly. Please stop by any of the fire stations to ensure that your child will be safe in the unfortunate event that you are involved in a car accident.
