Volunteer Opportunities
The City of Daphne is always looking to give our community members ways to volunteer around the Jubilee City. Our Volunteer Coordinator works hard to plan, develop and implement volunteer and community service programs, recruit volunteers and formulate informational programs in support of the City of Daphne.
Through a personalized interview, we work with individuals to determine their skills & interests and match them to the right volunteer opportunity. We offer a wide range of engaging assignments & partner with local organizations such as Prodisee Pantry, American Red Cross, Area Agency on Aging, Eastern Shore Rehabilitation, Shepherd’s Place, The Brennity, Kindred Home Hospice, Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce & many more!
Once a match is found, volunteers begin to serve as often as their schedule allows, ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week. Our volunteers receive pre-service orientation, on-site training from the organization where they will serve, and supplemental insurance while on duty.

The City of Daphne has partnered with the South Alabama Regional Planning Commission (SARPC) & Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people ages 55 & over. Daphne’s RSVP program is enrolling both volunteers & organizations that are seeking volunteer assistance. Retired seniors throughout Baldwin & Escambia Counties will now have the opportunity to share meaningful & rewarding volunteer experiences in our local community.
